WHAT’S HAPPENING?
Take a look at our Sunday School Butterfly Release from Mother’s Day 2009
We’ll return September 20 with our Workshop Rotation Sunday School. Over the course of four weeks, classes take turns visiting Mary’s Movie House, The Apostles’ Playhouse, The Temple of Truth, and Joseph & Son’s Workshop.
Join us for Sunday School
September through May — Sundays at 10:00 am.
Children will begin with us upstairs in the regular worship service for the opening hymns, call to worship and praise. After the children’s message upstairs, they will gather downstairs for their own worship service while the adult sermon is given upstairs.
This year we are starting a new program for children age 3 through 4th grade. Modeled after the Godly Play and Young Children and Worship programs, it “presents a joyful way for children to worship God. It invites children and adults to experience the wonder and mystery of God through a unique storytelling format and multi-sensory materials.” (Young Children and Worship, http://www.childrenandworship.org)

After a hands-on storytelling experience, children will have an opportunity to respond to the story on their own. They might work with the storytelling figures, work with puzzles or books or art materials.

If you have any questions, please contact Heather Heinrich or Madeline Bagwill through the church office.
Children 5th grade through 8th grade will be using the Action Bible Devotional this year! The Action Bible has put the stories of the Bible into a comic book format that is so engaging to youth that they won’t want to put it down.
We’re really excited about this new year and hope you’ll join us!
Paster Chuck will lead adult Bible study at 8:50 every Sunday in the Fellowship hall.
